Frequently Asked Questions About Wedding Photography & Videography in New Jersey
Honest answers about our process, our approach, and what it feels like to work with us.
Choosing the people who will be with you for most of your wedding day is a big decision. We believe the best photographs happen when you feel comfortable, understood, and fully present — not like you are being managed by a production crew.
These are some of the questions our couples ask us most often.
The Experience
I’m awkward in front of the camera. Can you help?
Yes. This is one of the most common things couples say to us.
A big part of our process is helping you feel comfortable long before the wedding day arrives. It begins with a relaxed engagement session, where you can get used to being photographed, shake off the nerves, and see that it does not have to feel stiff or unnatural.
By the time your wedding day is here, you already know what it feels like to work with us, which makes everything feel much easier and more natural.
What is your approach on a wedding day?
We know when to step in and when to step back.
We guide when it is helpful, especially during family portraits and a few portrait moments, but most of the day is about letting you live it instead of perform for it.
We are always paying attention to the quiet, meaningful moments that cannot be staged well, without turning your wedding into an all-day photo shoot.
Planning & Logistics
Can we see full wedding albums?
Absolutely. We are happy to share full wedding albums during our meeting so you can see how we photograph an entire wedding day, not just a few favorite images on Instagram.
Do you help with the wedding timeline?
Yes, and it is an important part of our process.
After booking, we send a welcome email along with a timeline questionnaire. Then, about 2 to 4 weeks before the wedding, we go over everything with you during a timeline review call so the day feels smooth, thoughtful, and well planned.
What happens if it rains?
We adjust, and we keep going.
Rain does not ruin a wedding story. It simply changes the atmosphere, and we know how to work with that in a way that still feels beautiful, natural, and true to the day.
Do you have insurance?
Yes. We carry full professional liability insurance and are happy to provide a certificate to your venue if needed.
Do you travel?
Yes. We are based in New Jersey and regularly photograph weddings throughout New Jersey, New York City, Philadelphia, Staten Island, and beyond.
Delivery & Heirlooms
How long does it take to see our photos?
We typically host your Signature Wedding Premiere Party about two weeks after the wedding, depending on scheduling.
Instead of sending a gallery link and having you relive your wedding on a phone, we invite you to experience your photographs the way they were meant to be seen — on the big screen, with music, champagne, snacks, and the people closest to you.
What is your editing style?
Our editing style is timeless, natural, and true to life.
We do not rely on heavy filters or editing trends that may feel dated a few years from now. We want your photographs to feel clean, honest, and lasting.
Why is an album included in your collections?
Because your wedding photographs deserve to live in your hands and in your home.
Every photography collection includes a handcrafted, leather-bound album made in Italy. It is meant to be more than a product. It is your first family heirloom — something tangible, lasting, and meant to be revisited for generations.
Videography
Do you offer wedding videography?
Yes. Wedding videography is available as an add-on to photography or on its own.
For couples who want to relive the movement, sound, and emotion of the day in a different way, film can be an incredibly meaningful part of the final experience.
How do we know if we should add videography?
Some moments are perfect for photographs. Others need sound, movement, and voice.
If you are considering both photography and film, we can walk you through what makes the most sense for your wedding and the kind of coverage that fits your day best.
Booking Your Date
How do we check if you’re available for our date?
The best way is to visit our Check Your Date page.
If your date is available, we will schedule an in-person consultation to hear more about your wedding, answer your questions, and see if we are the right fit for each other.
