Lenny and Melissa not only did that but they also managed to truly tell the story of the day. With every picture it takes us back to that very moment we know what was being said how we felt. Our pictures bring the amazing feelings we had that day right back to the surface in a way we could not have imagined.
Going into wedding planning, photography was the thing that we knew was the most important to us. After the vows are said, the music stops, the food is eaten, and you and your partner wake up the next day with hopefully just a mild hangover all you will be left with is a blurry memory, sore hamstrings from dancing and the pictures/video.
For our day we chose to just do photography and last minute added a live stream because you know, we live in a COVID world. So, what did we want out of our photographers? To list a few, great service before, during and after event, creativity/a natural eye for taking pictures, ability to tell the story of our day through pictures, and a big one especially for a wedding photographer they needed to be organized. Lenny and Melissas and out in all of these categories.
As far as service goes having a vendor that actually listens to what you want and puts it into action is a breath of fresh air, they were always honest and upfront with their process which made us as comfortable as possible, they have kept every single promise they made during out first meeting, the list goes on, all to say the service was amazing.
Secondly, organization. I have been in a wedding where the photographer caused the ceremony to start an hour late. I have a large family and wanted a lot of pictures; I knew organization was going to be key to the day running smoothly.We finished portraits with 15/20 minutes to spare and my wife and I didn’t break a sweat. (probably because it was 16 degrees out) But also because they had a plan and stuck to that plan making what could be stressful, easy and fun. Now as far as their creativity/story telling, we just had our reveal and I am having trouble coming up with the words to describe it.
Looking at these pictures immediately takes me back to that moment. A specific example, the pictures of when my wife and I were reading our vows, just by looking at these pictures I can tell by the facial expressions that they captured exactly what was being said. When it comes to portraits, they are not going to have you and your bridal party jump in the air (unless that’s what you want todo, I guess) they are going to work their butts off to tell the story. They capture every detail, facial expression, and moment so perfectly, that you will want to show them to those that weren’t there or relive with those that were.
I can go on and on about how insanely happy we were that we picked Lenny and Melissa and how excited we are to make and then see our wedding album. If you want your album to be more than just a bunch of individual pictures reach out to this amazing duo. Enjoy the process and try to not stress.
Whatever happens during the day is ok as long as you get to marry your best friend in the end :) This is easier said than done but if you can find vendors you trust it is going to eliminate a lot of stress.”
